Jacqueline Kemirembe

Jacqueline Kemirembe is the Managing Director of Platinum Tours & Travel ⏤ an outbound and inbound travel advisory and management firm. She founded and has run the firm since 2002.

She brings to the UTA Board more than two decades of experience in the business.

An IATA-certified professional, she started her career in the aviation industry as the Operations and Reservations Supervisor with Brussels Airlines (SABENA Airlines).

She later joined Kenya Airways in the reservations and ticketing unit before becoming the pioneering customer service manager at DAS Handling Limited (Dairo Air Services) at Entebbe International Airport.

In 2002, she founded Platinum Tours & Travel.

J a c q u e l i n e was elected as the new Chairperson of the Association of Uganda Women in Tourism Trade (AUWOTT) in April 2024. Before that, she was the AUWOTT’s Treasurer.
